It is a composite metal material sourced from low carbon and processed through drawing and electro galvanizing techniques. The zinc coating on the wire is not very thick, but it provides sufficient anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation properties. The zinc coating surface is uniform, smooth, and bright. The electro galvanized wire typically has a zinc coating of 18-30 g/m2. This wire is commonly used in the production of nails, wire ropes, wire mesh, fencing, and binding in the construction and steel bar industry.
For making nails, the wire should be hard with a tension strength of approximately 550Mpa. It is suitable for producing U fence nails, garden nails, and more.
For binding and tying up rebar, the wire should be soft with a tension strength of around 350-400Mpa. It is very soft and flexible.
Additionally, this wire is used for making fences, mesh, and other applications where a slightly harder wire is required. The tension strength for these purposes is approximately 500Mpa.
Thin diameter iron wire, ranging from 0.4-0.75mm, is also used for mask wire and packing wire.
The usual size range for this wire is 0.4-5.0mm.
