Galvanized Iron Tie Wire Mesh Wire

Galvanized wire, also known as cold galvanized wire, is made from low carbon steel material (Q195, Q235). It is a composite metal material sourced from low carbon steel and processed through drawing and electro galvanizing techniques. The zinc coating on the wire is not very thick, but it provides sufficient anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation properties. The surface of the zinc coating is smooth, bright, and evenly distributed. The electro galvanized wire typically has a zinc coating of 18-30 g/m2. It is commonly used in the production of nails, wire ropes, wire mesh, fencing, and binding in the construction and steel bar industry.

For making nails, the wire should be hard with a tension strength of approximately 550Mpa. This type of wire is used to make U fence nails, garden nails, and more.

For binding and tying up rebar, the wire should be soft with a tension strength of about 350-400Mpa. It is very soft and flexible.

Wire used for making fences and mesh should be slightly harder with a tension strength of around 500Mpa.

Thin diameter iron wire, ranging from 0.4-0.75mm, is also used for mask wire and packing wire.

The usual size range for this wire is 0.4-5.0mm.
